The challenge was to transform this 1950s home into a modern, beautiful and functional retreat that reflects this young couple's lifestyle. To work around the poorly designed floorplan, we went back to the drawing board and opened up the living, dining and kitchen areas to create a comfortable and bright feel.
Warm wood floors accentuate light pastel walls. Classic furniture is coupled with contemporary accent furniture and lamps to highlight the blending of the old with the new.
